We believe the bayonet matches the scabbard (both marked "8850 n") but the serial number on the bayonet is a bit odd (the "0" of the 8850 serial number appears as though the marking stamp was broken, making the "0" look like a backward "C"). The overall condition is ok, the scabbard has no noteworthy dents, etc. The frog is holding together well but is missing one rivet. The bayonet has not been
